Started having issues expanding Distribution Groups a few weeks ago. Could have been after some MS patches were applied via Update.
When you type in a Dist Group in Outlook, and click the + sign to expand it, you get the error below.
"Cannot perform the requested operation. The command selected is not valid for this recipient. The connection Microsoft Exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action."
I tried creating a new dist group (not a dynamic) and get the same issues with it.
There is stuff all over about what it could be, but have not found one that works.
I read somewhere that you cant expand a Dynamic group. Is there a way to tell if my groups are dynamic? Nothing in the properties that i can see and Exchange MC says the groups are Mail Universal Distribution Groups.
